Is this server whitelisted or allowlisted, whats the difference?

Q: Is this server allowlisted or whitelisted and what is the difference between them?

A: This server will be Whitelisted only. The reason for this is to hopefully cull any of the "shitters" or "cheaters" that like to come into RP servers to troll, make bad youtube videos and ruin people's time. Another reason is to make people come to the Wiki and read the rules of how we expect people to act or roleplay without making it uncomfortable for others. 

Allowlisting is typically an open server where you just need to be a part of Discord and you're able to connect to the RedM server. Sometimes they might have a reaction role you need to click on and it will allow you access to the rest of the discord/RedM server.

Whitelisting is the process of filling out an application to join the server which after filling out is reviewed by staff to make sure you read the rules. If it's approved you will receive a new Discord role that allows you to see the rest of the Discord and able to connect to the RedM server.
