Are government roles allowed if you are not staff?

Q: Can I RP in a government role such as a mayor, but not be a part of the staff team?

A: As of right now yes you can RP as a government position such as a mayor, however, there are limits to this. Mayors will be limited to 1 per major area such as Leymone, West Elizabeth, New Austin, etc.

All of these will be RP-only type roles, meaning "mayors" have absolutely no say over any lawman, or the authority to change any rules, laws, etc. This is strictly RP only.

You cannot force political views and beliefs on others. If the party you are trying to RP with says no, you must stop the scene and move on.  If it is reported that you have forced your political views or beliefs upon other players after they have already stated no, your character will be deleted without notice and you will be blacklisted from doing these types of roles again on the server without appeal.
