Gameplay Guidelines

*Please note that these may be subject to change as we grow and enhance the server and its features.*

1) Players must try to stay in character at all times to retain immersion. 
 1.1) Elaborate uses of OOC Talk and Modern Terminology may result in disciplinary action.
 1.2) If you need a take a break, it will not be held against you. 

2) Please submit a ticket if you have any technical problems. You must submit the appropriate ticket listed here #/contact-us

3) If you have a problem with a player whilst in game, please finish the scene and ticket the issue with the mod team. Do not mention in the scene you are raising the issue as it is not necessary.

4) Be aware of overpopulation in towns. Large groups should leave towns if they are engage with any ongoing scenes. 

5) Any music played over your microphone should be copy right free and fit for the server. 
 5.1) Playing Instruments/Singing over the mic are fine but should still be fit for the server. 

6.0) Player characters must not be related or have any knowledge of eachother. 
 6.1) Sharing information, items or resources between characters is prohibited. 
 6.2) Alternate characters that are state employees and criminals must operate in separate regions. 

7) Players must demonstrate 'Value Your Life' at all times. 

Prohibited Actions

• RDM
  Random Death Match (or RDM) is the act of/attempt of killing another player character with little to no interaction or engagement. The act of RDM limits roleplay and prevents other players from taking part in a scene or narrative.
  
• Metagaming
  Metagaming is using information obtained outside of the game or on another character and using it to gain advantage. 
• Powergaming
  Using game mechanics and exploits to gain and unfair advantage. Failure to raise bugs whlist knowingly using exploits and glitches may result in a ban.
• Revenge RP
  You must wait at least 48 minutes IRL before you try to re-engage any conflict. 
• Combat Logging
  Never log out of the server mid scene. Please wait until you have finished your interaction with other players before logging out. 
• Voice IDing 
  You shouldn't identify another player solely on their voice alone. 
• ERP
  Erotic Roleplay or ERP is prohibited in towns or whilst in public. Please keep this behaviour in a private residence or out of the server
• Child Characters
  Characters under the age of 18 are not allowed. Any family characters should be over the age of 18. 
• Pregnancy RP
• Supernatural RP
  Supernatural abilities or beings are prohibited. Your character may believe in the supernatural, but they cannot be it. 
• Body Dumping
  Please leave player characters who are either dead or hogtied in an area that they can be reach by a doctor. 
• Suicide RP 
• RP Bleed
  - Characters should be separated from the players.
  - Characters should be separated from other characters. 
  - Information learned outside of your characters knowledge cannot be used.
• Fail RP
  Fail RP is when your actions break the immersion for other players. This may arbitrary and rulings will be up to moderator discretion. Try to avoid any actions that make no sense to the time period or the world.
  Examples of this Include: 
  - Shooting off a Player Characters Limbs/Head. 
  - Walking around freely whilst being wanted by law

Rules of Engagement. 

• Be Mindful of others limitations and respect the pacing of the scene.
• Please use /me for describing yourself
• Please use /do for describing your actions.
• Groups should have a maximum of four on each side of an active scenario. 
• Allow for others to contribute to the scenario. 
• hogtie < wonder what that could mean?
• Lassoing other players provides proper initiation. If you are hogtied, you must remain bound until released. You may break ties if you have been abandoned for 1 minute.

Medical RP 

• Requesting for a doctor means you initiated medical roleplay. Players are required to engage in Medical RP if they have called for a doctor.
• Players decide on the injury and the outcome of the treatment given by the doctors. 
• Physicians may leave a medical scenario due to lack of engagement. If a physician leaves the scene due to Fail RP, please submit a moderator ticket with a clip of the scene. 
• If you disconnect accidentally during the scenario please relog and continue out the scene. 
• Physicians are able to attempt 3 times to revive and player before declaring a death. 
• If you are roleplaying an unconscious character, physicians have the right to exercise implied consent for any treatments or surgeries. 
• A character is declared dead when the player has uses "/do no pulse". After a declaration of death is made, a character may not spring back to life.
• Players cannot be forced to permakill their characters. 
• Players should wait until the active scenario has concluded before calling for a doctor or self reviving. 

New Life Rule

• Players must avoid any hostile activity for 48 minutes after being revived by themselves or any doctor.
• Players may only remember the events leading up to their injury if they have been revived by a travelling doctor.
