Trailblazer RP - Mission Statement

Who are we? We are Trailblazer RP. 

We are a brand new RedM server built on the VORP Core framework with the word "unique" in mind in every detail that we put into this server. 

Who am I?

My name is Scratchypillow, I am the Owner/Founder of Trailblazer RP and I have been doing RP for over 8 years now between many different games such as RedM and FiveM but I keep coming back to RedM. This is what I call home, this is what I am used to. The stories that are made within RedM are so unique it's just awesome to watch them unfold. 

What is our vision?

The vision for this server is first and foremost by-the-player-for-the-player kind of server. What that means is I am a player as well, I do RP, and I am invested in the stories and the different mechanics of the server. I want to give criminals a little taste of new opportunities and I want to give civilians different things to do besides the same boring mining or wagon delivery jobs. Unique is a word that we like to throw around quite often and that is what we are trying to accomplish, something truly unique that makes us stand out from the rest. Do I think I know what is best for the server all the time? No not at all, I don't but I want to hear from you the community on what you want implemented into the server. I might think that a certain job would be cool or neat to have on the server but the majority doesn't think so and that's great it's the kind of back-and-forth you need to grow. I do however plan to take polls from the community quite often on what you want to see in the server and if it's possible to do and makes sense we will do it alongside other things we wish to bring to life along our road map. There will be some Q&A or AMAs (Questions & Answers / Ask Me Anything) that we will host in Discord and whitelisted members can join in. 

Being as open as possible

Transparency. This is something that can be hard for people to understand because a lot of folks are used to these things being behind closed doors, so being blunt with everyone is the best way to put this sort of information out there. I am not looking to make a profit on this server, that hasn't and does not interest me. Our inbound and outbound expense reports are public to the server (minus the account information) on what we spend money on and the donations coming in. If we purchase a $2.99 per month subscription to a discord bot it will be published in our report. Our expense report for every month can be found here. The people who donate want to know where their money is being spent and if it's spent wisely. Your donation/membership is being put directly back into the server through paying to keep the server running, buying new scripts if needed for the server, and similar things like interior to buildings. Those items will be put in that expense report for everyone to see.

That's great, we encourage questions because it makes us think outside of the box. We do have a frequently asked questions page that you should be able to see here as well as the rest of our wiki if you have further questions that maybe I haven't touched here in this post. 

When will Trailblazer RP launch?

I know this is a question many people will have since when you join the server you only see a few channels. My goal is to have this server launched in the first half of 2025. Now things unfortunately happen and there are sometimes bumps in the road so please understand while I say that I want the first half of 2025 as a launch date I will not put an incomplete product or something I am not happy with out to everyone for the sake of meeting a deadline. We want to make the launch as perfect as we can for you guys the players who will be creating storylines and new friends along the way.

We are hard at work as you can see in the changelogs channel. When we feel we are somewhat close to a final product please keep an eye out for a ping from myself and make sure to turn your notifications on. We will also be looking for some beta testers, there will be an announcement for that as well.

Closing Statements

On behalf of the Trailblazer RP Staff and from the bottom of my heart thank you for the support and the encouragement of creating something that you all want to call home. This was a small dream that was propelled by others' interests and desires to have a huge helping hand in something they want to call home. I promise we are working as hard as we can in the upcoming weeks and months to bring you something truly unique and special and for a place all of you cowpoke to call home. We cannot wait to see you in there when we open the county to you all.
